Problem information
The Problem information panel allows you to view problems detected by Electronic Service Agent.
Problem summary
Located above and below the panel.
- OK - Click to save the changes made to the panel and return to the previous
panel.
- Refresh list of problems - Click to refresh the list of problems.
This does not refresh the service request status.
- Send test problem - Click to send a test problem to IBM support to determine
if connectivity to IBM support is working.
Problems
- Select Action - Select one of the following actions to perform on the
problems selected in the Select column.
- Update Service request status - Select to refresh the service request status of the selected problem.
Only one problem can be refreshed at a time.
- Delete - Select to delete the selected problems from the table.
- Display - Select to display the problem details for the selected problem. Only one problem can be selected for the Display action.
- Go - Click to perform the selected action.
- Select column - Select the problems for which you want to perform the selected action.
- Description column - Displays a short description of the problem.
- SRC column - Displays an alphanumeric system reference code (SRC) associated with the problem. The SRC column is available on supported versions only.
- Occurred column - Displays the date and time that the problem ID was created.
- Local problem ID column - Displays the problem log identifier assigned to the
problem.
- Problem status column - Displays the reporting status of the
problem. The status can be one of the following:
- Open - No action has been taken on the problem.
- Pending - The problem is in the process of being sent to IBM support.
- Failed - All attempts to send the problem to IBM support failed. No more attempts will
be made.
- Reported - The problem was sent to IBM support.
- Closed - The problem was processed and closed.
- Service request column - Displays the IBM service request number assigned to the problem.
- Service request status column - Displays the status of the service request associated with this
problem.
Panel buttons
- OK - Click to save the changes made to the panel and return to the previous
