This
subject microcode is to be used on the following SAS Adapter/controller types:
(FC EK47) Broadcom MegaRAID 9361-8i SAS3 X8 controller with 8 internal ports (2 GB cache with CacheVault Power Module) PCIe3 x8 with 2 mini SAS cables

System Requirements
If you are installing a new feature, ensure that you have the software that is required to support the new feature and that you determine whether any prerequisites must be met for this feature and attaching devices. 3.0 Determine the Current Microcode Level
Use StorCLI64 (Storcli Version: 007.1017.0000.0000) to flash the SAS controllers. This tool can be downloaded from the “Management Software and Tools” Section at
https://www.broadcom.com/products/storage/raid-controllers/megaraid-sas-9361-8i#downloads
1) Type "storcli64 /c0 show"
2) The Command will produce output similar to
"FW Package Build = 24.21.0-0119"
If the Firmware Version is less than 24.21.0-0119 then you should update the microcode.
4.0 Downloading the Firmware Update Package
Download the latest MegaRAID Firmware 24.21.0-0119_SAS_MR_FW_IMAGE_APP_4.680.00-8505.zip
from the “Firmware” Section at:
https://www.broadcom.com/products/storage/raid-controllers/megaraid-sas-9361-8i#downloads
Firmware file: mr3108fw.rom
storcli64 /c0 download file=filepath resetnow (resetnow will make this an online update and not require a reboot and is optional)
