Instructions:

Download the latest MegaRAID Firmware at: ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/Firmware/Openpower/

Use StorCLI64 to flash the SAS controllers. These tools can be downloaded from Utilities section of ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/Firmware/Openpower/

Command syntax: StorCLI64 /cx download file=mrxxxxfw.rom where ”xxxx” is the version in the file name.

IMPORTANT: MegaRAID Adapters (LSI 9361-8i) support SED (Self-Encrypting Drives) using a security key and optional passphrase. The passphrase option is currently not supported on Power platforms and MUST NOT be used. Setting a passphrase will make the adapter unusable. The only way to recover the adapter will be to install the adapter in a system that supports this feature, enter the passphrase from the BIOS, then remove the passphrase.
