This document provides information about the IBM FileNet Image Services (IS) is_4.2.0.10-IF470671 interim fix.

This interim fix introduces no new features.

A display problem causes the stamp program to display incorrect information for the modules contained in this interim fix. The modules are fully functional and they do not cause performance issues.
IBM is currently working on a resolution for this stamp output display problem. When the resolution is available, it will be posted to IBM Fix Central as an interim fix. For additional information about this issue, see IBM technote 1461571, "FileNet Image Services: The stamp utility displays incorrect information."
Before installing this interim fix, verify that you have a copy of the latest IBM FileNet Image Services documentation. The Image Services documentation packages contain additional information that you might need to perform the procedures mentioned in this readme, such as stopping services and applications.
Search is enabled in the help system only if you have installed it as a website on a web server that supports Java™ applications.
The following component must be installed before installing this interim fix:
In dual-server and multi-server configurations, install the interim fix on the root server first, and then on the other servers.

UNIX On all UNIX servers:
Stop Image Services by running:
initfnsw -y stop
killfnsw -DAy
Windows On all Windows servers:
Stop Image Services by running:
initfnsw -y stop
killfnsw -Dy
Note The killfnsw command also stops the Image Services Control Service.

Windows fn_perm
After stopping Image Services software, copy the original modules previously saved to the appropriate location.
