This package includes a fix for  the HMC V9 R1.930 service pack.  You can also reference this package by PTF MH01825 and APAR MB04212.  This image can be installed on top of HMC Version 9 Release 1 M930 (PTF MH01810) with or without additional fixes.

New features

• Following additional management functions are supported for managing Power LC servers using HMC:
• Support for primary management console to prevent duplication and provide redundancy
• Group firmware updates
• Enhanced LED to show led status
• Collect and display system metrics: power usage, temps
• Collect and call home BMC equivalent of VPD data
• Field Replaceable Unit(FRU) status UI

General fixes

• Fixed log messages related to LDAP operation to clear stale information.
  
• Fixed the incorrect error message "NLS_MESSAGE_NOT_FOUND" displayed to the user when LDAP configuration validation failed.
  
• Fixed incorrect capacity validation issue when deploying a template with multiple SR-IOV logical ports.
  
• Allow any custom DHCP IP address range configuration via HMC CLI.
  
• Fix possible communication between Mobile CoD's master and managing MC(s) that could prevent pool operations, such as, inability to add any server managed by a remote HMC to the PEP pool.
  
• Fixed junk characters in Korean locale for the managed system virtual storage management panel.
  
• Fixed issues when using the ibmwebsite repository to download system firmware.  Symtoms included reports that it hangs indefinitely or takes one hour or more to retrieve available updates.
  
• Fixed a GUI issue with USB key format, resulting in generation of SRCs E3033001 and E3550048.  Symptoms included reports of a blank window, clicking refresh resulted in
  "Error Rendering Task Panel"
  An unrecoverable error has occurred while rendering a task's graphical output.  An attempt has been made to terminate the task. Any operation in progress may have been interrupted prematurely.  An entry in the error log has been created so this problem can be reported automatically.
  
• Fixed an issue in data replication of user profile resource role data change to slave HMC(s) when the user profile on the slave has a resource role with no (null) resources.
  
• Fixed an issue causing erroneous repeated notifications of SRC E332FFFF to the user when Java core dump compression fails.
  
• Fixed an issue that left connections to port 13443 in a CLOSE_WAIT state, which lead to E35A000B and/or E212E161 SRCs.
  
• Fixed a failing sftp updlic issue due to permissions.  Symptoms included receiving "No updates available".

Security fixes

• Addressed the Linux kernel vulnerability: CVE-2018-14633
  
• Addressed the systemd vulnerability: CVE-2019-6454
  

Known Issues

• LED activation/deactivation is supported only using CLI command for BMC-based systems.
