    PTF MH01818

This package represents a fix that can be applied on your HMC Version 8
Release 8.7.x  image starting from HMC 8.8.7.0 till HMC 8.8.7.3 You can
also reference this package by PTF MH01818 and APAR MB04205.  This fix
image can be installed on top of HMC Version 8 Release 8.7.0 Recovery
installation PTF  (MH01704) with or without any additional PTFs or
service packs.

PTF (MH01705) with or without any additional PTFs or service packs.

      *General fix*


  * This PTF includes a fix to enable HMC to use TLS 1.2 communication
    protocol with IBM cloud storage.  This is a mandatory fix if you are
    using IBM Cloud Management Console for Power System (CMC) service.
    The PTF must be applied on every Power HMC where HMC cloud connector
    is enabled and data is pushed to CMC.

    To check if cloud connector is currently configured and active use
    the command: lssvc -s cloudconn.


      *Note:*


  * This PTF needs to be re-installed if you install any additional
    service Pack or PTF on top of this PTF.
