(No PowerVM). * Non supported functions will not be accessible or return appropriate error messages. * Supports both FSP and BMC based hardware management and serviceability. * Provides familiar hardware and service management experience for both BMC and FSP systems. * Alows BMC/PNOR updates via a separate HMC code update wizard. * The BMC supports only a single HMC management connection. List of fixes *General fixes* * Fixed an issue where migration of a partition with vNIC configuration between Emulex and Cx4 adapters had the following impacts. o Configuration of a vNIC with PVID greater than zero, VLAN Allow All and Allow specific list on Emulex cards will lead to VLAN Deny All on CX4 adapters with VNIC configuration override option. o Migrating from CX4 adapters to Emulex adapter, configuration of VLAN Deny All and MAC Allow All may cause network loss of the partition. User was required to change the configuration to have VLAN/MAC consistency check before initiating the migration operations. * Fixed an issue of not retaining NIST security setting during an HMC update. * Fixed an issue to allow setting of default value of the capacity as 1 for 2-Port 100Gb RoCE QSFP28 PCIe 3.0 x16 Adapter * Fixed issue where the user is unable to see an additional virtual network created when activating multiple LPARs using current config. * Added support in System Planning Tool (SPT) to recognize adapter feature codes EC2T,EC2U,EC2S,EC3R for 9009-42A model. * Resolved issue where HMC Version 9.1.910.0 did not support the redundancy capability for an HMC virtual appliance on a PowerVM logical partition configured on an NPIV MPIO LPAR. * Fixed an issue where the customer could not select a problem number to send associated files on Send Problem Reports tab of Transmit Service Information. No problem numbers were available in the Virtual RETAIN files for the Problem Number drop down list. * Fixed an issue where Power 9 repairs, system level deactivate confirmation panel description states "/Deactivate the FRU being serviced/" instead of "/Deactivate the system containing the FRU being serviced./" * Added details on EED customer notification email for additional call home errors for files that exist and were already called home. * Fixed an issue where the HMC Dashboard showed CEC details twice when the CEC is connected to the HMC for first time. * Fixed an issue where the Quad 10/100/1000 Base-TX PCI-Express Adapter in a U78CD.001 drawer does not list the "Feature code". * Corrected a problem where some serviceability tasks logged always as hscroot regardless of the user executing the commands/task. * Fixed an issue where HMC called home SRC E212E13D was reported due to excessive logging created by users generating queries to the HMC. * Fixed the incorrect ownership of the profile directories of the managed system(s) to prevent error messages REST0126 and HSCL0036. * For 7063 machine type only - Improved problem reporting for 7063 BMC events detected for hardware errors and failures. Symptoms were that not all hardware errors detected and reported in the BMC were reported to the HMC or seen as a serviceable event. *Security **fixes* * Fixed the whole certificate which contains the certificate details is loaded including the Root & Intermediate certificate if any. * Added recovery mechanism for REST service unavailability problem due to security definition file issue. Known issues and Limitations * If a backup is taken without PCM data on 910 SP1 level and restored on a level earlier than 910 SP1, PCM enablement would fail post the restore operation. The user must reinstall 910 SP1 to enable PCM. * LC managed systems support is limited to one HMC connection per BMC. No dual HMC support for any one BMC system. * The table view does not list BMCVersion or PnorVersion. * When adding a managed system there are username field issues: o The username only applies to BMC, not FSP o If left blank, the default username will be used on BMC systems. * Query of LED status is limited for BMC systems in the GUI, use *lsled* for accurate results. * Attribute and firmware details are missing in BMC General Properties page * BMC Firmware details are not updated on Enhanced UI after code update. Refresh your browser to populate the details. * BMC Version is shown as Unknown for the 8335 CEC Machine Type. * A Null Pointer Exception may intermittently occur when trying to launch General Properties for a BMC based server. * The System "Name" field of BMC systems is read-only and cannot be modified.
